About CheckEnergyBill
CheckEnergyBill is a free, automated check of UK business electricity and gas bills. It is in beta: we are testing it with real bills and improving the checks.
How the check works
An AI model (Google's Gemini on Vertex AI) reads the figures on your bill. A fixed set of rules, not the AI, then decides what is right or wrong. Every rate we use is stored with its official source and the dates it applies, so each finding can be traced and reproduced.
What we don't do
- We don't sell energy, broker contracts or take commission.
- We don't give professional, financial or legal advice. Results are automated guidance.
- We don't use tracking or advertising cookies, and we delete uploaded bills within 24 hours unless you opt in.
